Zach grew up in Southern California and while attending UCLA found his passion for law while working as a legal assistant for a boutique personal injury firm in Tustin, California. Immediately after graduating with a BS in Environmental Science, he moved to Portland to attend law school at Lewis and Clark Law School. During his time in law school, Zach focused on family law. He enrolled in any family law class he could, spent two years as a family law clerk, and spent a year researching and writing a capstone project on the impact that gendered language in and the lack of uniformity in the adoption of the Uniform Parentage Act had on the determination of parentage for LGBTQIA+ families across the country. Zach was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2024.
Outside of his practice, Zach enjoys spending time volunteering at his local community garden, golfing, hiking, cooking, and playing with his pets.
