Admitted to Practice

Maxine focuses her practice almost exclusively on a wide range of family law matters. Family cases are complicated – legally, financially, and emotionally. Throughout each case, Maxine ensures her clients are educated about the legal process. Her goal is to ensure each client feels empowered to make difficult decisions that will have lasting effects, such as decisions related to co-parenting and financial well-being.

Maxine is experienced in handling complex divorces, involving business interests, real and commercial properties, and other assets. While Maxine is an experienced litigator when needed, she believes clients are better served by reaching individualized and practical resolutions outside of the courtroom. Maxine is trained in collaborative divorce.

Maxine is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School. Since 2019, Maxine has been selected every year by Super Lawyers as an Oregon Rising Star. Maxine is also recognized by her peers for her professionalism. She has given presentations on family law and professionalism for various organizations.

Outside of Maxine’s law practice, she has served on a number of committees and boards. This includes being a former President of the Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association, a membership organization promoting the professional development and advancement of Asian attorneys.
