Maxine Tuan is a family law attorney that dedicates herself to compassionate and pragmatic representation. Maxine focuses her practice almost exclusively on a wide-range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, dissolution of domestic partnership, legal separation, uncontested adoption, paternity action, prenuptial agreement, and third-party custody cases. Family cases can be complicated – legally, financially, and emotionally. Throughout each case, Maxine ensures her clients are educated about the legal process and feel empowered to make difficult decisions about the important and intimate aspects of their lives, such as decisions related to co-parenting and financial well-being. Maxine is experienced in handling complex divorces, involving business interests, real properties, estates, and other assets. While Maxine is an experienced litigator when needed, she believes clients are better served by reaching individualized and practical resolutions outside of the courtroom.
Maxine is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School. She was selected to the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Super Lawyers Oregon Rising Stars list. Outside of Maxine’s law practice, she focuses her time volunteering and serving in leadership positions on various boards. Maxine is Taiwanese, and enjoys cooking authentic Chinese food. In her spare time, you will find Maxine outdoors hiking, camping, rafting, summiting, and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
