Jim, now retired, graduated from Kansas State University, Washburn School of Law with honors, holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University, and is also a CPA. He practiced law since 1988, and concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, including business succession planning, estate and trust administration, income, estate and gift tax planning, and the establishment of charitable organizations.
During his years of practice, Jim became very experienced working with high net worth families doing multi-generational estate planning. He also handled many challenging trust and estate administrations. He is very pragmatic and has good street-smarts.
Over the years, Jim had written professional articles and lectured to professional organizations on tax and estate planning issues. Although he is enjoying retirement, his many clients remain in good hands at Wyse Kadish.

David Bean volunteers through MBA to assemble winter care kits for Blanchet House
Wyse Kadish partner David Bean volunteered through the Multnomah Bar Association’s YLS Service to the Public Committee to assemble winter care kits to be delivered to Blanchet House. Blanchet House is a local non-profit organization that provides food, clothing and housing to people living homeless in Portland.
