Amy graduated from the University Of Oregon School Of Law and holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University Of Washington School Of Law. She has been practicing law since 2001 and is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington. Amy’s practice emphasizes estate planning and administration for small and large taxable estates, as well as business succession planning, income and gift tax planning, charitable planning and estate planning for non-citizens.

Amy has taught continuing legal education seminars for the Oregon State Bar and others on both estate planning and administration matters. She served two terms on the Oregon State Bar’s Estate Planning Section Executive Committee, and is a chapter co-author of the Oregon Bar’s probate manual, Administering Oregon Estates. Amy has worked with the Multnomah County Probate Court and local area stakeholders to create rules for mediation in probate matters, and was the original Fundraising chair of the non-profit organization now known as Guardian Partners which educates guardians and fiduciaries and provides advocates for protected persons in Multnomah County.
