Anne Koch is a co-planner and will emcee the Oregon State Bar’s Intellectual Property Section Year in Review CLE, which will be held Friday, February 5 from 9 am – 1:30 pm at the Oregon State Bar Center.
Presenting on patents are Susan Pitchford and Amelia Forsberg from Chernoff Vilhauer, Anna McCoy from Alleman Hall McCoy will present on trademarks, Mark Wittow from K&L Gates in Seattle will speak on copyright law, and Professor Steve Tapia from Seattle University School of Law will be the keynote speaker.
Professor Tapia has practiced entertainment, media and intellectual property law for over 30 years. He has worked with such companies as DIRECTTV Sports Networks, Microsoft, and HBO.
He will speak on his experiences practicing IP law over the past few decades, and what he sees as trends and challenges in the practice going forward.
