We at Wyse Kadish LLP extend our best wishes to our colleague Josh Kadish upon his retirement. We thank him for his many years of service to our clients, the community, and the firm.
After attending Haverford College and Stanford Law School, Josh practiced for 37 years and received many accolades. He was named one of Portland’s top mediation attorneys by the Portland Monthly since 2006. He was consistently recognized as one of Oregon’s Super Lawyers, and named one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2014 and their Lawyer of the Year for family mediation in 2014. Josh was recognized as a Five Star Professional and was a finalist for the 2012 Daily Journal of Commerce Leadership in Law Award. In 2011, he received the Sidney Lezak Award for Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Following in his father’s professorial footsteps, Josh taught family law, negotiation, and mediation as an adjunct professor at Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College for more than 25 years.
Josh derives immense joy from serving the community and from his wonderful family. He serves as President of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood House and is regularly seen, often with his guitar, at the Hillsdale Farmers’ Market.
While Josh remains available to Wyse Kadish as a consultant, we are honored to continue representing clients in the areas to which Josh contributed so much including family law, mediation, estate planning, and business law. We thank Josh for his leadership and friendship, and we wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.
